Women's Protection Units celebrate March 8th

The Women's Protection Units (YPG) fighters in al-Shaddadi area of Hasaka celebrated March 8th, International Women's Day. During the ceremony, Women's Protection Units (YPG) leader Akhin Nojan said: "March 8 has become a symbol for women who have sacrificed themselves for the cause of women's freedom. ".

With the participation of dozens of Women's Protection Units fighters, the Syrian Democratic Forces and injured fighters  a celebration was held on the occasion  of March 8th , International Women's Day in the Al-Shaddadi region. The celebration began by listening to the leader, Abdullah Ocalan's assessments on the struggle of women..

During the ceremony, Women's Protection Units (YPJ) leader Akhin Nojan delivered a speech that began by blessing  on March 8, International Women's Day on Ocalan, all women in northeastern Syria and women of the world in the character of the Women's Protection Units fighters, she continued: "In recent days, leader, Abdullah Ocalan has been met, he sent his greet  to all the militants. We send our greetings and love to our free leader Abdullah Ocalan, and we congratulate him on this day."
