The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported, on Saturday (May 6), that a leader of the mercenaries of "Sultan Suleiman Shah" known as "Al-Amshat" raped a 10-year-old Afrin girl, while the mercenary was accompanying the girl and her mother on their way to Afrin.
While a source told ANHA agency that the rapist mercenary is called "Ahmed Mamdouh" and is known as "Abu Daham", and he fled after committing his crime to the village of Kura in Janders district, while this incident sparked great public anger.
Commenting on this, the head of the Women's Body in the Afrin and al-Shahba canton council, Amina Mulla Hasan, confirmed in a statement to ANHA agency, that the Turkish occupation aims to continue to commit brutal crimes against citizens since the occupation of Afrin, the Kurdish presence in general, and women in particular.
She added, "There are many arguments and justifications for the Turkish occupation to commit crimes against citizens."
Amina Mulla Hassan indicated that women have the largest share of the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, saying: "The crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against women are numerous, especially against minors, such as killing, kidnapping and rape in occupied Afrin."
Amina Mulla Hassan, called on international organizations to intervene in Afrin to hold the Turkish occupation accountable for its crimes.
She drew attention to the processes of demographic change that the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are pursuing in occupied Afrin, by changing the names of villages and public places, and changing the features of the region, saying: "This indicates something, as it indicates on annexation the region to Turkish lands."
