Women demand to lift isolation on Ocalan, save strikers' lives

The women of Afrin and al-Shahba cantons and ed-Dirbasiya district in al-Hasakah canton demanded the international and human rights organizations to accelerate the intervention to lift the isolation on the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and save the lives of the hunger strikers.

The resistance of the parliamentarian of Democratic Peoples' Party in Colemêrg Leyla Guven entered its 111 day, as well as the participation of dozens of the hunger striker all over Kurdistan and Europe to lift the isolation on Ocalan.

Despite the deteriorating health of the MP Leyla Guven and other hunger strikers, the international and human rights organizations are still ignoring to respond to their demands to lift the isolation on Kurdish leader Abdullah Ocalan and save their lives.

AL-SHAHBA

The citizen Jihan Mohammed said that the resistance and hunger strike of the parliamentarian Leyla Guven will continue with strong will and despite the deterioration of her health day by day, she continues to resist.

Jihan added that they took strength from Leyla Guven's resistance because her resistance is greater than all the plots that are being planned against Ocalan and the peoples of the region, "She prove the strength and will of free women and resist hunger and physical exhaustion as a woman who realizes that the liberation of Ocalan is the liberation of women."

For her part, the citizen Alifa Sheikh Mohammed of the Arab component in al-Shahba canton noted, "Leyla Guven is strong because she is tied to the thought and philosophy of the leader Ocalan and that her critical health situation and her rejection of treatment prove to the world her resistance that will never be broken."

Ed-Dirbasiya

The women of Ed-Darbasiya district in al-Hasakah canton have denounced the international silence towards the isolation that has been imposing on Ocalan over three years, stressing their support for Leyla Guven's resistance.

The citizen Malik Abdul Baqi said that the Kurdish women have achieved many victories during the historical stages and sacrificed their lives for their cause and for the oppressed people. Leyla Guven's resistance is also historic and affirms the reality of free women.

For her part, Nisreen Maami called on the humanitarian organizations to move towards Leyla Guven's demands and added, "The humanitarian organizations must take measures, move in response to Leyla Guven's demands and stop the Turkish state's violations against the Kurdish people."
