US Embassy in Damascus: We support Kurdish dialogue, aspire to its continuation

The United States Embassy in Damascus said that America supports the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue, and looks forward to the continuation of its progress.

The Embassy published on its official Facebook website a post in English, Kurdish and Arabic, in which it said:

"The United States supports the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue and looks forward to continuing its progress. These discussions support and complement the broader political process under Security Council Resolution 2254 towards securing a brighter future for all Syrians."

It is worth mentioning that the Kurdish talks and dialogue between the two Kurdish parties (the Kurdish National Council and the Kurdish National Unity Parties) have been suspended since some time due to the absence of a representative of the American party that sponsors those talks, and it is planned that America will appoint a new envoy after the inauguration of Joe Biden to preside over America.
