The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, declared that "the first step of the Kurdish-Kurdish dialogue passed successfully, and we moved to the second phase."
Abdi asserted in a tweet on the 29th of last May that "together we are united, we will win and write history."
In this context, Hawar news agency surveyed the residents of Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood opinions about the unity.
Ali Mesto stressed the importance of the ongoing dialogues among the Kurdish parties. "So that we can take historic steps during this stage that we are going through, these dialogues will protect the Kurdish people from all attacks and violations" he said.
Mesto hoped that the Kurdish parties could achieve the forthcoming Kurdish unity.
He continued, "This is an important step for the Kurdish people, and we hope that all Kurdish parties will unite."
Hayat Horo mentioned that her wish is to unite the Kurdish parties as well as the people "because our enemies always want to eliminate us. Unity will save us from extermination."
Riyad Sheikho said, "This step is important for us, and uniting the Kurdish rank is the demand of the entire Kurdish people. We hope that the Kurdish parties put their interests and differences aside, work on the Kurdish issue and protect their people."
