UN: Turkish mercenaries committed war crimes   

UN investigators said on Monday, that Syrian pro-Turkish mercenaries carried out killings and looting in northeastern Syria.

A report by a UN commission covering the period from July 2019 to February 2020, revealed serious violations committed by these mercenaries backed by the Turkish army, which described the violations as amounting to war crimes.

UN investigators, led by Paolo Pinheiro, called for accountability for "many violations".

The report called on Turkey to investigate whether it carried out a raid  on a civilian convoy near Seri Kania city. Which resulted in killing 1 people in the past October.
