Two AU summits concerning Sudan, Libya in Egypt

 On Tuesday, Cairo is hosting two summits of the African Union to discuss the issues concerning the Sudanese and Libyan affairs.

The African Union is holding two meetings in Cairo today, the first meeting will discuss the developments in Sudan and the strengthening of the work to contribute to the consolidation of stability and peace.

While the second meeting will discuss the latest developments in Libya, ways to contain the current crisis and revive the political process and the elimination of terrorism.

In mid-April, the AU determined a deadline of 15 days to the Transitional Council in Khartoum to hand over the rule to a civilian leadership, threatening to suspend Sudan's membership.
