The Deputy General Commander of al-Bab Military Council, Yusuf al-Arima confirmed that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries were setting fire to crops and shooting fire at anyone trying to put out the fire. The mercenaries were also shooting fire at the positions of the forces of al-Bab Military Council Forces with heavy machine guns.
Yusuf al-Arima pointed out that the first fire broke out in the agricultural fields located in the occupied village of Olshli and the liberated village of al-Bugaz, the second fire was the next day between the occupied village of al-Kareidiya and the liberated village of al-Buwaij, and the fire continued for three consecutive days. Al-Bab Military Council's fighters sought to support the fire brigades in the area to extinguish the fire.
He pointed out that the fighters of al-Bab Military Council and firefighters were not able to extinguish the fires only when they reached the villages where they exited because the Turkish occupation mercenaries were shooting fire at anyone trying to put out the flames in the fields.
