Turkish occupation forces Afrin youth to learn Turkish language

The occupying Turkish state forced dozens of young men from city of Afrin, the center of the occupied canton, to enroll in a Turkish language course, in a continuation of the policy of demographic change in the areas under Turkish occupation in northern Syria.

Turkey occupied Afrin In the 18th of March 2018 and practiced the policy of demographic change in the northern region of Syria through the displacement of the Kurds, and the settlement of mercenaries’ families from different Syrian regions in addition to the settlement of mercenaries from Asian countries.

In a continuation of demographic changes, the occupied Turkish state forced 32 people from the city of Afrin to take a course in the Turkish language.

The Turkish state continues to impose its language on the population of the areas under its control.
