Turkish occupation authorities arrest Kurdish artist Weissi Armish

The Turkish occupation authorities have arrested the Kurdish artist and member of the Mesopotamia Cultural Center, Weissi Armish, from his home in Istanbul.

This morning, the Turkish police raided the home of the Kurdish artist and member of the Mesopotamia Cultural Center, Weissi Armish, located in the Sultan Bey neighborhood of Istanbul, Turkey.

Media reports quoted Armish's family as saying that the Turkish authorities had arrested Armish and transferred him to an unknown location.

The Turkish occupation authorities are carrying out a campaign of raids targeting parliamentarians, members and administrators of the Democratic Peoples’ Party against the backdrop of their support for the resistance of Kobane during the attacks of ISIS mercenaries on the city.
