The Turkish Ministry of Health announced Friday 109 new deaths from Covid-19, bringing the death toll to 2,600.
According to data published by the Minister of Health, the number of confirmed cases was 104,912, including 3,122 new cases.
Turkey is the seventh in the world in terms of the confirmed cases, surpassing Iran and China, according to Johns Hopkins University.
The highest number of cases came in Istanbul, the health minister said earlier in April.
