Turkish military aircraft unloads cargo in western Libya

Arab outlets reported that 3 Turkish military cargo planes unloaded their cargo, Tuesday, at the Al-Wattaya base in western Libya.

On Tuesday, three Turkish military cargo planes unloaded their cargo at Al-Wattaya base in western Libya, according to Al-Arabiya / Al-Hadath sources.

This comes in light of the breakthroughs in the Libyan dialogue among the warring parties during the meetings held under the United Nations auspices lately, and in the wake of the German army’s announcement that Ankara prevented German forces working on a military mission for the European Union from inspecting a Turkish cargo ship believed to be transporting weapons to Libya.

It is worth of note that Ankara transferred thousands of its Syrian mercenaries to fight on the side of the al-Sarraj-led National Accord Gov against the Libyan National Army led by Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar.
