Turkish army prepares to send Syrian mercenaries to Azerbaijan

Private sources from inside the occupied Idlib region said that a batch of Syrian mercenaries is prepared to be sent to Azerbaijan for large sums of money.

Private sources confirmed today, Wednesday; Syrian mercenaries from a number of regions have begun preparations in Idlib, to go to Azerbaijan; It included Turkey's plan to plunge mercenaries and Turkish soldiers into Armenia –Azerbaijan conflict.

This comes after Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar announced that "Turkey will stand by Azerbaijan in its war against Armenia," while the ministry confirmed the arrival of Turkish officers and soldiers to the Azerbaijan.

The sources said that, after the blessed Eid al-Adha, they will go to Turkish territory, and then to Azerbaijan, for $ 5,000 each mercenary.

Azerbaijan and Armenia have been locked in a struggle since the 1990s to tighten control over the Karabakh mountains that lie between the two countries, while the intensity of the battles sometimes escalates to include other areas of contact.

Media sources and websites stated that the number of Syrian mercenaries that Turkey sent to Libya exceeded 15,000 mercenaries, of whom nearly 500 were killed, according to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
