Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, reported that the returning of Syrian mercenaries stuck in Libya has been suspended since 20 days, for the last returning batch was conducted in mid-November, and that Turkey intends to send a new batch of mercenaries to Libya in the coming days. .
To this, the toll of Syrian mercenaries sent into Libyan soil stands now at 18,000, of whom 350 children under 18, while around 10750 ones returned to Syria, after their contracts were expired and sums of money received, in addition to killing of at least 496 ones in Libya.
In the same relation, Turkey used the Syrian mercenaries in the Azerbaijani- Armenian conflict, in Karabakh, that was ended after the November 9th, 2020, ceasefire agreement between the two sides brokered by Russia.
According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, 2580 Syrian mercenaries were transferred by Turkey into Azerbaijan of whom 514 were killed.
