​​​​​​​Turkey hints at military intervention in Karabakh

Turkey hinted at the possibility of sending military forces to Karabakh, as Turkish Vice President Fuad Oktay said that his country will not hesitate to send military forces to Karabakh region if there is a suitable request from Azerbaijan.

Oktay said today, Wednesday, that his country will not hesitate to send troops and provide military support to Azerbaijan in the event that the latter submits a suitable request.

Oktay, the Turkish Vice President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, added that Ankara has not yet received any request on this issue from Baku.

The Turkish threat to military intervention in Karabakh comes despite the international efforts to make the fragile ceasefire succeed due to the Turkish intervention.
