Turkey calls on Arab League to discriminate against Kurds in Syria

In remarkable comments, Turkey said the Arab League should defend the Syrian Arabs, a clear reference to the Turkish state's mentality of racial discrimination against the Kurds, after Ahmed Aboul Gheit said that the Turkish attack threatens ethnic cleansing of the Kurds.

Speaking at an emergency meeting of Arab foreign ministers on Saturday, Arab League Secretary General Ahmed Aboul Gheit described Turkey's attacks on northern and eastern Syria as "aggression and blatant occupation" as well as "invasion."

Aboul Gheit called for a responsible international stance towards the Turkish aggression, which will leave behind many disasters in the region, and threatens the ethnic cleansing of the Kurds and the replacement of refugees and demographic change in the region.

The Turkish occupation state tried to respond to the Secretary-General of the League of Arab States, but the spokesman showed his chauvinistic mentality and demanded Ahmed Aboul Gheit to defend the "Arab Syrians", in a clear reference to the policy of racial discrimination it advocates. Turkey is against the Kurds, Aksoy claimed that the Kurds seek to divide the Arab world.
