The Turkish attack on northern and eastern Syria caused the displacement of more than 300,000 civilians, from Serekaniye and Girê Spi/ Tel Abyad, in addition to some areas near the lines of clashes, and as a result of the large numbers of displaced people in Hasaka, the Autonomous Administration in northern and eastern Syria in the city allocated more than 64 centers for the displaced.
The administration also established the Washokani camp, 12 km west of the city center of Hasakah and inhabited by more than 6500 displaced people, from various regions that witness attacks in al-Jazeera region.
The displaced man Mahmoud Muhammad Ahmad, who is expelled from Serekaniye, and who lives in Washokani camp told Hawar News Agency camera the story of his suffering and displacement, and the violations committed by the mercenaries of the so-called "Syrian National Army" against the people.
He said in the beginning of his speech: "We were displaced from our homes since October 9 of the previous year, because of the Turkish aggression with its mercenaries on the area, which was bombing Serekaniye by aviation and cannons, and we headed towards the city of Hasaka being the safest area."
After the occupation of Turkey and its mercenaries, both Serekaniye and Gire Spi / Tel Abyad, they tried to seduce the citizens by spreading false news and claiming that the areas they occupied were safe, but the testimonies that appeared denounced what the occupation was promoting and that his allegations were untrue. The occupied area has become a place of chaos and massacres.
Ahmed explained, in this context, that the mercenaries of the so-called "Syrian National Army" are occupying our homes now, and they are tempting the people to return, and claiming that the area is safe and secure, so my wife decided to return to Serekaniye with the children, and upon her arrival at the house, I found in it mercenary factions, where they arrested my son."
Ahmed noted that “the mercenaries threatened my wife not to release him until I returned to Serekaniye."
"One of the mercenaries wounded my son's face with a sharp object, to pressure my wife for my return. My wife promised them that if they released my son, they would persuade me to return to Serekaniye, so they released him."
Ahmed pointed out that, after the release of his son, his wife and children fled from Serekaniye, but before they left, the mercenaries told them: "These houses are our homes, and you have nothing here, and my wife and the children went back to Al-Hasakeh again."
Mahmoud Ahmed stated that the SDF rid the world of the largest terrorist organization, ISIS, and added: "The international community must move to return the city to its people.
The situation here is very difficult to put here, a week ago my family and I lived in the reception tent, and because of the weather, the camp administration cannot set up new tents for the people."
