A Spanish delegation arrived in Rojava on the 7th of this month, including six representatives of the Women's Movement in the Region of Basque, with the aim of learning about the revolution of Rojava and especially the revolution of women.
During their visit to al-Hasaka, the delegation was received by dozens of women from al- Hasakah. Initially, the women representatives of the Basque region welcomed the women, followed by a televised presentation on the history of the Basque Region, how they demanded autonomy and secession from Spain.
During the discussions, Basque women explained that Basque people have been subjected to injustice and all kinds of violence, especially women. They do not have the freedom or the freedom to express their opinion.
Basque women said that the purpose of their visit to Rojava is to look at the reality of DAA and women's institutions, as well as how women organize themselves according to the allocation of their own association.
They emphasized that they consider the experience of DAA in Rojava, especially women as an example, to follow their steps to achieve freedom in the Basque.
It is worth noting that the Spanish delegation will visit the village of Jin War in the district of al-Darbasiya.
