A statement was issued by the Girkê Legê Council in the Qamishlo Canton in North and East Syria, today, regarding the concluded agreement between the Iraqi Federal Government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party, that was against the will of Şengalis.
The statement that was read by deputy co-chair of the Girkê Legê Council, Xaled Othman, reads as follows:
''We condemn and denounce stances of both the Iraqi Federal Government and Kurdistan Democratic Party, that go against the will of Şengalis who managed themselves and formed their special administration, we, as the Kurdistan people, back and support the will of the people of Şengalis .
