Tehran: one of military advisors killed in Israeli attack

An Iranian military advisor was killed in an attack carried out by Israel, today, on targets in the vicinity of the Syrian capital.

The Public Relations of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced, "The martyrdom of the guard Rashid Islam, one of the advisers and officers of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, in the attack launched by the Zionist regime in the early morning on the outskirts of Damascus," according to the Iranian Tasnim Agency.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights had reported that Israeli missiles targeted military sites of Damascus forces and pro-Iranian groups in the area between Qatana and Jdeidet Artouz, southwest of the capital, Damascus.

Worth to note that successive explosions were heard in the area, resulting from targeting a weapons and ammunition depot, while the Syrian air defense missiles managed to shoot down at least one Israeli missile.
