Teachers: We will continue in our activities until the leader is freed

Al-Darbasiyyah teachers described the isolation of the leader Abdullah Ocalan as a "flagrant violation" of international law, and emphasized that the struggle will continue until Ocalan's liberation.

The Turkish state imposes strict isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and prevents his lawyer and family from visiting him, in an attempt by the Turkish occupation to prevent the spread of his thought and philosophy, and to keep the Kurdish people without leadership.

In this context, and on the goal of isolation, teachers in Al-Darbasiyyah district called on human rights and international organizations to pressure Turkey to allow his lawyer and family to visit him.

The Kurdish language teacher, Masoud Ali, says: "Now the situation is different. The ideas of leader Abdullah Ocalan have given way to us and spread in the world as a blood flow in the arteries."

Ali noted, "The conspiracy that targeted Ocalan is still continuing, through the attacks of the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries from Jabhet al-Nusra and ISIS on northern and eastern Syria and the massacres against the people of the region."

For her part, the teacher Soltan Al Majeed confirmed, "We will continue in our activities until the leader is liberated and we will live with him in peace."

She noted that what Turkey is doing against leader Abdullah Ocalan is a flagrant violation of international law.

As for Dogan Hassan, he says: "A person has the right to live in freedom, and to keep Ocalan for 21 years that exceeds all human and human rights standards."

The teachers called for Ocalan's freedom to be granted urgently, wondering what human rights organizations are doing, as freedom must be granted to all the oppressed, and Ocalan, the owner of the free thought, is still imprisoned in Imrali deprived of the most basic rights.
