Tawerghi: Skhirat Agreement opened door for Syrian, Turkish mercenaries to tamper with Libya

The Libyan political analyst Siraj Al-Tawerghi said that the Libyans suffered from Skhirat Agreement, as it brought a deformed presidential council that was leading militias fighting against them to control Libyan money, including mercenaries from Syria and Turkey.

Hawar News Agency held a special interview with the Libyan political analyst, Siraj Al-Tawarghi, where he said, "The past days have witnessed a continuous exodus of people in Libyan cities, especially the city of Benghazi, which is considered the cradle of the dignity revolution to delegate Field Marshal Khalifa Hafter and the Libyan army to take over the affairs of the country."

He added, "We are fed up with what the governments in the east and west are doing due to the disadvantages of the Skhirat Agreement and the division of the Libyan Parliament in Tripoli and Benghazi, and the legislative committees such as the Council of State and other institutions led by the Muslim Brotherhood, and therefore came the popular mandate of the General Command of the Libyan Armed Forces to lead the affairs of the country."

Al-Tawerghi indicated that the Libyans are suffering from the Skhirat Agreement and the deformed presidential council that was dismantled after the resignation of many of them, who confirmed the failure of this council, " The council is leading militias in order to fight with aiming to control Libya's money, including mercenaries from Syria and Turkey, so we delegated the army, which, with God's grace, responded to our demands.
