TaŞtekin: Turkey is frightened from Kurds in Rojava

Turkey's prominent journalist, Fehim TaŞtekin stressed that Turkey supports Daesh against the Kurds in several areas and said " The model developed by the Kurds in north and east of Syria has been attacked by Turkish state. Turkey is frightened from the situation of the Kurds in Rojava.

"If mercenaries are tried, all state relations with mercenaries will be revealed, so there is no positive approach to establish of an international court," he said.

Turkey journalist considered the establishment of the international forum in the place where Daesh was defeated is an important, and added "the struggle that has been happened it has great role in the international arena."

IS' risk still remains

The international forces must deal seriously with IS' risk," he said, adding that "IS' risk still exists in the territories where it is spreading." In this regard, the seriousness of states is important, not only the military struggle, and the discussion with international states is very important."

Turkey is frightened from the Kurds and their gains in Rojava

And he stressed that "Turkey has supported Daesh mercenaries in several areas against the Kurds, the model developed by the Kurds in northeastern Syria touches Turkey closely," he said, adding that "Turkey is frightened against the Kurds and their gains in Rojava." The axis of Turkish politics in Syria is based on the failure of this model.

"Turkey was saying to Daesh (you are serving my interests) and now Turkey says it wants to get out Daesh from the areas which were previously under Daesh domination, heading towards to the international community says I (Turkey) is an active to fight Daesh. Turkey is doing so to ease the pressure on itself

Turkey and Daesh have the same ideology

Some of the mercenaries have the same Daesh ideology, but they are seen as acceptable mercenaries," he said, referring to mercenaries supported by Turkey and their danger to the region: "These mercenaries who are existed in Afrin, Azaz and Jarablus." Turkey plays its role in Syria by supporting these mercenaries. This is a duplication, Heyat Tahrir al-Sham is tied with Jabhet al-Nusra and Jabhet al-Nusra is a branch of Daesh, and Daesh in tactical way has been defected, and Heyat Tahrir al-Sham has the same Daesh ideology which is supported by international society, and coalition must undertake its duty towards that, there is an apparent risk.

Those who support mercenaries in Turkey are increasing

"As long as these mercenaries are in Afrin, Azaz, al-Bab and Jarablous the situation in Turkey will not stabilize, there will be no stability in Syria, these mercenaries are tools," he said, adding that "the ideology of mercenaries are dangerous to the region. If the battle has finished against jihadists their presence will be as sleeper cells, these gangs are being formed on the Turkish border, the gangs that support these organizations are increasing.

Some countries are afraid about what will be said at the International Tribunal

The establishment of an international court to try mercenaries in northeastern Syria would mean recognition of the administration in this region," he said, adding that "some European countries see the escape from the problem as a solution." There are mercenaries from all countries in the ranks of Daesh (Some countries thought that these mercenaries should go to Syria to eliminate al- Assad regime and that they should not return.) The return of these mercenaries is a problem for those countries, which support the establishment of an international tribunal to prevent returning their citizens who joined to Daesh ranks.

"There can be a lot of information as soon as a tribunal is set up to try mercenaries," he said, adding that "there are who wants of Daesh problem to be finished in north and east of Syria and not transfer to Europe." many countries fear what would be talked by Daesh in court.
