Students return from Damascus to Qamishlo, undergo tests

Today, a group of students from al-Jazeera region who were studying in the Syrian capital, Damascus, arrived at Qamishlo airport, and the emergency teams immediately began receiving them and carrying out the necessary tests for them, as part of the precautionary measures to prevent the appearance of the Corona virus in the region.

The number of students who arrived in Qamishlo airport is about 100, who were studying in Damascus universities, and they will undergo the necessary examinations and test "KIT" by the emergency teams of the Health Authority in al-Jazeera region.

In conjunction with the work of the emergency teams, the Internal Security Forces intensified their procedures to prevent any breaches, as happened on April 7, as the operators of Qamishlo Airport smuggled a number of arrivals to prevent checks and quarantine them.

This is due, and after completing the necessary tests for them, placing them in a preventive quarantine center for a period of 14 days, the incubation period of the virus.

According to the administration of Qamishlu Health Authority, Rojin Ahmed, a quarantine place for students arriving is fully equipped with all equipment and logistical supplies.
