The Commission for Documentation of Genocide of the Kurdish People issued a statement to the public opinion on the violations and war crimes committed by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries of Jabhet al-Nusra and ISIS against the people of northern and eastern Syria.
During this statement, the Commission called on the relevant international organizations to intervene and investigate the war crimes committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in northern and eastern Syria.
The Committee also noted in its statement that the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries and their practices were a flagrant violation of international laws, covenants and conventions, stating that they conducted field tours and visited the affected people in Başûr (South Kurdistan), and that they prepared a list of legal proceedings in this regard.
The text of the statement is below:
“We, the Committee of Documentation the Genocide of the Kurdish People, would like to cooperate and support the organizations, political parties, independent personalities and human rights activists from the components and peoples of the society of north and east Syria (Kurds, Arabs, Syrians, Assyrians, Circassians and Armenians) in order to address all international tribunals for war crimes and genocide, the UN Security Council, the United Nations, the international organizations banning chemical and biological weapons, and international human rights organizations that protect human rights and dignity to intervene and investigate the genocide, ethnic cleansing and occupying lands, theft of property, the excesses of the Turkish state against the components of north and east of Syria and the violations of the terrorist groups and mercenaries that must be legally prosecuted and internationally sued.
These excesses are a flagrant violation of international laws, covenants and conventions. What have been happening in the cities and villages of Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî, Tel Tamr and Qamishlo villages since the ninth of October until this moment of crimes require the formation of commissions of inquiry and accountability, as Turkey and its mercenaries continue to strike the standards of international and ethical law, even Turkey used the internationally prohibited weapons against our peoples in northern and eastern Syria of all components and peoples (Kurds, Arabs, Syrians, Assyrians, Circassians and Armenians), and targeted more than 30 unarmed civilians including children with these internationally banned weapons.
Therefore, all international tribunals, institutions and competent organizations, particularly the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical and Biological Weapons must express their clear positions and investigate the facts in the light of evidence.
At the forefront is the Organization for Chemical and Biological Weapons. They must express their clear positions and seek truths in the light of the availability of evidence. The international silence makes the world devoid of standards of justice, right and responsibility. This will be a support for Turkey to pass its illegal policies easily. We have evidence for many cases confirming the use of internationally prohibited weapons and we have samples proving Turkey's involvement in this humanitarian crimes.
In the Commission for Documentation of Genocide of the Kurdish People, we have committed ourselves to documenting those crimes that have affected the components of the peoples of northern and eastern Syria, through field tours to visit those affected by the use of these prohibited weapons, both in the refugee camps in the provinces of Kurdistan Region and also intensified field trips in the areas of northern and eastern Syria. Those areas directly affected by the results of the brutal and fierce campaign launched by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries. We also prepared a list of legal proceedings against the Turkish army and its terrorist mercenaries for war crimes, genocide and the use of banned weapons against the unarmed civilians, and It will be signed by all those affected by the inhabitants of northern and eastern Syria (Kurds, Arabs, Syrians, Assyrians, Circassians and Armenians).
After completing and collecting the signatures of the victims, we will submit the list of legal proceedings and the complaint signed by the victims, together with the evidence, pictures, audio recordings and videos documented to the International Criminal Court, the European Court of Human Rights and all international organizations against the Turkish army and its mercenaries for committing their brutal crimes to be tried and to receive their fair punishment according to international laws, customs and covenants, in addition to compensation the victims financially and morally.
