Special forces of KDP are not affiliated with Peshmerga Ministry

At the same time, the KDP sends Zervani's forces and Roj mercenaries, which are the party's special forces, to the legitimate defense areas. The Ministry of Peshmerga issued a statement stating that it did not send Peshmerga forces to legitimate defense areas.

In conjunction with the attacks of the occupying Turkish state against the regions of Zap, Avaşîn, Metîna, the KDP mobilized more of its special forces to the border areas of Shiladze and Deraluk, adjacent to the Zap regions, pictures and scenes of these forces posted to the media and provoked a wave of popular resentment.

According to the information obtained, the forces that were mobilized to the legitimate defense zones are special forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and some of them received training from the Turkish state. It is not affiliated in any way to the Ministry of Peshmerga, and the Ministry of Peshmerga has no information about the nature of the tasks of these forces called Zervani and Roj mercenaries.

Zervani's forces are the special forces of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, while the Roj mercenaries were formed from the Democratic Party and the Turkish state, and it includes elements from Rojava. These forces are trained by Turkish intelligence and used against the Kurdish people.

Three days after the attacks of the Turkish state, the Ministry of Peshmerga in the Government of Southern Kurdistan (KRG) issued a statement yesterday evening, in which it stated that the ministry had not moved its forces to the region. The statement accused the media of insulting the Peshmerga.

The statement of the Ministry of Peshmerga confirms that the Zervani and Roj forces are not affiliated with the Ministry of Peshmerga. Officials in the Ministry of Peshmerga, a number of parliament members and members of the Peshmerga committee have previously stated that Roj forces are illegal forces that were formed by the Kurdistan Democratic Party.

Deputy Chairman of the Peshmerga Committee in the Parliament of Southern Kurdistan, Osman Sidari, said in a previous statement to Roj News Agency, "The Patriotic Union of Kurdistan forces did not participate in Roj forces in any way. So far, we do not have any information about the nature of the tasks of these forces. Therefore, we do not have any information." What are these forces doing?
