SOHR: Two Turkish soldiers found dead and injured in Idlib

Today, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that two Turkish soldiers, one dead and one wounded, were found, in unknown circumstances on the road linking Idlib and Sarmin, near one of the so-called Turkish points in the area.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, a violent explosion was heard on Latakia-Aleppo International Highway yesterday, as a result of an explosive device that exploded in the vicinity of Ariha, moments after a joint Turkish-Russian patrol passed on the “M4” road.

This was followed by an alert by Turkish forces in the region. The Turkish and Russian vehicles came out on a joint patrol yesterday from the village of Tarnaba, to the village of Kafr Shlaya in Idlib countryside.

This comes a week after a Turkish military man was killed in an explosion on Latakia-Aleppo International Road, in which a member of the Turkish forces was killed in an explosive device explosion, on the Aleppo-Lattakia road, west of the city of Jisr al-Shughour.
