SOHR: Iranian forces confront unidentified objects in Al-Bukmal

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that anti-aircraft of Iran confronted yesterday evening "unidentified" objects near Al-Bukmal on the Syrian-Iraqi border.

The Syrian Observation for Human Rights (SOHR) said that the Aerial Iranian troops responded yesterday to unknown objects near Al-Bukamal on the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

According to SOHR the aerial of the Iran's Revolutionaray Guards targeted yesterday unknown objects in southren countryside of Dier ez-Zor near the Iraqi-Syrian borders.

It confirmed that no explosions were heard in the area, and no information was received so far on the nature of the objects targeted by anti-Iranian air.

It is noteworthy that Iranian forces received anonymous air strikes targeting their positions in the desert of Deir ez-Zor and on the Syrian-Iraqi border this month, during which about 40 of them were killed.

This comes at a time when the Iraqi News Agency quoted the head of the border outlets, Kazem Mohammed Brisam al-Oqabi as saying that Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi agreed to open the existing port between Syria and Iraq.
