SOHR: 29 government forces and ISIS mercenaries killed in Badia battles

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 13 ISIS mercenaries and 16 Syrian government forces were killed on Tuesday, as a result of violent battles on different axes in the Syrian Badia, and other places in the Aleppo - Hama - Raqqa triangle.

The clashes between ISIS mercenaries and the Syrian government forces are concentrated in the axes of Al-Rahjan and Athria in the eastern Hama countryside and other axes of the Aleppo-Hama-Raqqa triangle, accompanied by intense air strikes from warplanes.

According to the Syrian Observatory, the clashes between the two sides resulted in the death of 13 ISIS mercenaries, while 16 members of the government forces were killed.

According to the observatory, the death toll is expected to rise due to the wounded, some of them in serious cases, in addition to information indicating that others have been killed.

The death toll from March 24, 2019 until this moment reached 903 government forces, some of non-Syrian nationalities (two Russians, and 140 elements affiliated with Iran), all of whom were killed during attacks and bombings by ISIS mercenaries, in west of the Euphrates, the desert of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Homs and As-Suwayda, while 495 ISIS mercenaries were killed during the same period.

In addition to the killing of 4 civilians working in the gas fields and 11 of the shepherds, along with a citizen, in attacks by ISIS mercenaries in the areas controlled by government forces.
