Shawkat Barazi: After invasion, demographic change Turkey seeks to annex

A member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria in the city of Serê Kaniyê Shawkat Barazi described the violations of the Turkish occupation on the Syrian territory with a gradual plan that began with the invasion and then the demographic change and now the construction of the walls to annex as it did in Iskenderun.

This came in an interview conducted by our agency ANHA with a member of the Central Committee of the Kurdish Democratic Party in Syria in the city of Serê Kaniyê Azad Barazi on the construction of the Turkish occupation state of the partition wall in Afrin canton and its objectives.

In this regard, Barazi said: "When the Turkish occupation state invaded part of the Syrian territory, the last of which was the city of Afrin, its main objective was the occupation and this was clear. The plans that followed the occupation are the demographic change and the displacement of the indigenous people from the occupied territories in general and Afrin and the areas inhabited by the Kurds in particular, and this is what happened in the villages of al-Bab and al-Shahba, and continues in Afrin."

He added that the Turkish goal of all these plans is to annex part of Syrian geography and appropriate it to the map of Turkey as it did in Iskenderun.

Barazi stressed that liberating the city of Afrin and all the occupied territories from the hands of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries is the responsibility of all Syrians, national forces and all honorable people in Syria. This requires unity and national unity among the components of the people and raising the pace of struggle and resistance by all means:olitical, military and various activities to expose the Turkish plan and end its occupation of Syrian territory and the return of all displaced persons to their homes.
