According to the Media Center of Syria Democratic Forces, "the Anti-Terrorism Units (YAT) succeeded in monitoring the movements and communications of a mercenary affiliated with the terrorist organization ISIS in northeastern countryside of Deir al-zor, and prevented him from carrying out terrorist operations that were planned to target the military forces and the staffs of civil institutions in the region."
According to it, the units raided the place of residence of the "terrorist" based on tracking operations, and arrested him with weapons and communications equipment.
