​​​​​​​SDC announces of forming committee to follow up file detainees, kidnapped

The Syria Democratic Council SDC has announced the formation of a committee to follow up the file of detainees and kidnappers, whose mission is to research the situation of detainees and kidnapped from all parties throughout Syria.

Today, the Syria Democratic Council is holding a press conference in (al-Kiraa) Reading Garden in Qamishlo city, in the presence of the co-chair of the Syria Democratic Council, Amina Omar, head of the Executive Board of the Council, Ilham Ahmed, and members of the Presidency Council, in addition to many media outlets.

During the press conference, the SDC announced the formation of a committee to monitor the file of detainees and kidnapped in Syria.

Its mission is to research the situation of all detainees and kidnaped of all parties in Syria, without exception.

The statement was read by the Head of the Executive Council, Ilham Ahmed.

According to the SDC, this conference comes within the framework of responding to the United Nations' call for the release of the detainees, fearing for their lives from the rapid spread of Corona virus, and also in strengthening the ceasefire.
