The Kurdish political scene is witnessing a wide debate about the unity of the Kurdish class, and sitting at one table of dialogue, especially after the Turkish attack with its so-called "Syrian National Army’s mercenaries" in the areas of northern and eastern Syria.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, recently launched an initiative to unite the Kurds, to confront the Turkish attack aimed at exterminating the people in the most horrific ways and methods, and to protect the gains of the Kurdish people.
On this topic, Hawar News Agency ANHA met with Kurdish researcher, poet and writer Saleh Haidu, who explained at the beginning of his speech that "Doubtlessly, those who do not want the unity of the Kurdish class are those who have interests with external agendas, and work according to their agendas, these are on the face in particular, the enemies of the Kurdish issue. "
"For hundreds of years, the Kurds in Kurdistan have been divided into four sections, and each section is affiliated with an external agenda that works according to its interests. Global agendas have had a great impact on the Kurdish issue, when the Kurds think about the interests of their people at the expense of partisan interests, and the personality will achieve Kurdish unity with ease."
And Saleh Haidu continued his speech: "Some agendas hostile to the Kurdish cause are fabricating strife and excuses through some parties, to keep the Kurds away from each other, those who evade the Kurdish unity do not matter who they are, and more importantly they must be considered enemies."
Haidu explained that at this time the Kurdish people are subjected to the harshest forms of persecution and injustice, the enemies have united against it, "Therefore, the Kurdish unity is crucial, and whoever escapes Kurdish unity must be held accountable, and all Kurdish people must know that they are the enemy of our cause."
Kurdish writer and researcher Saleh Haidu said at the end of his speech: "The initiative of General Mazloum Abdi was excellent in seeking unity, and I wish the Kurdish people to stand with this initiative, to achieve Kurdish unity, so that we become like the peoples of the world to know our identity, and gain our rights."
