Russian planes bomb Kefriya town

Russian planes allied with the Syrian regime bombed the town of Kefriya in the countryside Idlib, a source said that the planes launched six raids since last night and so far, confirming the presence of dead and wounded among civilians.


A source from the province of Idlib, northwest of Syria, said that Russian aircrafts bombed since Kefriya, noting that 6 civilians were killed and 20 others injured as a result of aerial bombardment.

The source confirmed that the bombing continues so far intermittently coincided with the continued flight of planes.

Troops of the Syrian regime and Iran withdrew earlier this year from the Shi'ite towns of Kefriya and al-Fowa under an agreement between Russia and Turkey.
