Residents of Deir Ezzor reject regime's presence in their areas

Hundreds of people from Deir Ezzor went out in a mass demonstration after Friday prayers, rejecting the presence of regime forces in their areas.

During the demonstration, which came out of Aisha mosque on the outskirts of the town of Al-Garaneej in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, the demonstrators carried slogans against the regime's entry into their areas.

The demonstration came in response to rumors broadcast by the regime's media to hand over some areas liberated by the SDF, such as the cities of Tabqa and Raqqa, which also witnessed today demonstrations, following the agreement between the regime and Autonomous Administration of north and east Syria following the Turkish aggression and the withdrawal of US forces from some points.

It is worth mentioning that the countryside of Deir Ezzor east and west have witnessed demonstrations for weeks also demanding the departure of the regime and the Iranian groups from the territories occupied as a number of martyrs fell and wounded and the arrest of others.
