Regime, Iran officers killed in Israeli bombing

4 Iranian officers were killed in addition to 3 of the regime forces, including two officers, as a result of the Israeli bombing that targeted the area of Damascus International Airport.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said: There were human casualties due to the Israeli bombing that targeted the area of Damascus International Airport just before midnight yesterday.

The observatory confirmed that as a result of the bombing, at least 4 Iranian officers were killed, in addition to the killing of 3 regime forces, including at least two officers.

The observatory indicated that the raids took place after the arrival of a cargo plane, which was not yet known whether it had arrived from Iran, or from another region within Syrian territory.

In January 6, Israeli fighters bombed sites of the regime forces and pro-Iranian groups in the 91st Division of the First Division in the vicinity of Kiswa, and the 75th Brigade in the vicinity of al-Muqaylabiyah, west of Damascus, sites in Jisr Baghdad district on Damascus-Homs road, and the agricultural airport south of Izraa in Daraa Governorate.
