Regime forces escalated its bombardment in demilitarized zone

The Syrian forces have escalated the bombardment on the areas of the so-called demilitarized zone, where the most violent was on Khan Sheikhoun in Idlib area, which has been shelled by more than 40 shells since Thursday morning, in conjunction with the start of the meetings of Astana.

 The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the regime's forces stepped up the shelling on the so-called demilitarized zone's areas on Thursday morning.

The regime forces bombarded areas in Khan Sheikhoun in the southern countryside of Idlib with more than 40 rocket shells, which resulted in injuring several people.

While they targeted other areas in the vicinity of the town of Murek in the northern countryside of Hama within the demilitarized zone, and other areas in the towns of Kafr Naha and Khan al-Asal in the south-western countryside of Aleppo and other areas in the towns of Ma'rdabsa and Khan al-Sabl north of Ma'aret al-Numan and Om Jalal village in the south-eastern countryside of Idlib.
