regime forces control a village in Idlib

Syrian regime forces managed to control the village of al-Qasabiya in the southern countryside of Idlib amid violent clashes with Turkish mercenaries in an attempt to regain control.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said that the regime's forces were able to take full control of the village of al-Qasabiya and Jeata strategic hamlet in the southern Idlib countryside.

The Observatory confirmed the attempt by Turkey's mercenaries to regain control of the village, where violent clashes between mercenaries and the regime's forces are taking place amid the bombing of the village by the Syrian regime planes.

It is noteworthy that since the beginning of the most severe escalation in the villages of Hama and Idlib, the regime forces for the first time managed to control the village in the borders of Idlib.

On April 30, Russian forces, backed by Russia, launched a fierce attack on Turkish mercenary groups in the so-called "reduction of escalation" under the Russian-Turkish agreement after Turkey fled its promise to establish a demilitarized zone and withdraw mercenaries from it.
