The youth of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) in Lebanon congratulated the fifth anniversary of the World Day of Solidarity with the resistance of Kobani, when the city was liberated from ISIS mercenaries.

The PYD's youth organized commemorating meeting on the fifth anniversary of the World Day of Solidarity with the Kobane resistance and its liberation from ISIS mercenaries.

The meeting began with a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs, then the administrator of the PYD, Jamil Yousef, said: “Today we bless the fifth anniversary of the liberation of Kobani. The terrorist organization ISIS attacked Kobani with all kinds of heavy weapons, and logistical support from the Turkish occupation state, was able to advance and control the entire countryside of the province and large parts of the city.

Yousef added, "The great and heroic resistance of the People's Protection Units and the Women's Protection Units against the terrorist organization, despite the simple capabilities and light weapons, through which they were able to break the largest and most dangerous organization in the world, so the whole world showed their solidarity with that legendary resistance."

Then the meeting ended with chanting slogans glorifying the martyrs and saluting the resistance, and holding Dabkeh episodes with revolutionary songs.
