In conjunction with the 72nd anniversary of the execution of the Kurdish leader Qazi Muhammad and his comrades, the Democratic Union Party in Sheikh Maqsoud neighborhood in Aleppo organized a rally in front of its headquarters in the neighborhood.
The statement was read by a member of the General Council of Women in the Democratic Union Party, Roshin Moussa. The statement referred to the international and regional circumstances that led to the declaration of the establishment of the Republic of Mahabad and the plots that were waged against the Kurdish people that led to the collapse of the republic and the execution of the Kurdish leader Qazi Muhammad and his comrades.
The statement commemorated all the martyrs of the Republic of Mahabad on the 72nd anniversary of their martyrdom and stressed that their memory will remain alive in the memory of the Kurdish people, "The martyr Qazi Mohammed left but the idea of freedom and right remained alive in the memory of the Kurdish people, who fought to win the freedom."
Furthermore, the rally ended with slogans that saluted the martyrs.
