Prosecution rejects requests to meet with detainees in Imrali

The Turkish Public Prosecutor's Office rejected the requests of the families of the leader of the Kurdish people Abdullah Ocalan and three other detainees in Imrali prison to meet them.

The brother of Abdullah Ocalan, Mohammed Ocalan filed a request to the Turkish public prosecutor in the city of Bursa to meet with Ocalan in Imrali prison, but the request was rejected.

The Public Prosecutor's Office invoked with the fact that the detainees were subject to punishment and were not allowed to meet with them. The last family meeting was on 5 June.
