Preparation for activities in Euphrates region for international plot anniversary

The cities of the Euphrates region in Kobanî and Girê Spî cantons are preparing to organize activities expressing the position of the people of the area about the international plot against the leader of the Kurdish people, Abdullah Ocalan which took place on15th February on the 20th anniversary of his arrest.

In this context, Women and Youth organizations in particular are preparing to launch various activities like demonstrations, seminars, and statements expressing the people of the area's attitude about the international plot and the countries in which they participated.

In Ain Issa district of Girê Spî, the Revolutionary Youth Movement Center is organizing a series of events which will continue until the15th of February, the international plot anniversary against the leader of the democratic nation Abdullah Ocalan. 

The Young Women held a meeting on 5th February in Kobanî canton to organize a march on 10th February, demanding the release of Ocalan as it is suggested to be launched from Kobanî canton to Girê Spî canton.

The center is preparing to hold a lecture for the youths in the district on the level of the Euphrates region in the 9th of February, presenting movies, pictures, and speeches of Ocalan. They will be displayed in the three towns of the district.

The Revolutionary Youth Center in Ain Issa district has been working since its opening in the 12th of August 2018 to organize youth events on all the official occasions held by the peoples and components of north and east Syria.

In Kobanî, a series of seminars that aim at defining the plot is being organized to be presented on the days of 11th and 12th of February. Kongra Star will also issue a statement with the participation of about 5,000 women from different regions of Girê Spî in connection with the plot on 7th February. Then the Martyrs' Families Council will issue a statement on the 14th of this month.

On the 15th of February, a demonstration is organized in Kobanî where thousands of people are scheduled to participate.
