To discuss the roadmap emerging from the Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Forum of Opposition Forces at Home, which was held in Kobani on July 18-19. In order to implement the outcome of the Forum, which includes meetings with the Syrian democratic opposition forces at home and abroad, the Syrian Democratic Council SDC has intensified activities abroad and at home.
The Syrian Democratic Council recently organized several dialogue workshops for opposition forces, personalities and opposition blocs abroad, the latest of which was held on September 7 and 8 in Berlin, Germany, attended by 30 Syrian opposition figures.
Vice-co-chair of Syrian Democratic Council Majdoulin Hassan told our agency (ANHA) that the figures who attended the workshop that was held in the German capital Berlin attended by 30 opposition figures, including intellectuals and political activists, civil and human rights.
The discussions in the workshop were centered on the previous ones held in Paris on 29 and 30 June, and Vienna on 12 and 13 July. On the Road Map emerging from the Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Forum, the mechanism of Autonomous Administration of the North and East of Syria, and Majdoulin Hussein in this regard that the discussions focused intensively on ways to hold a national conference for the Syrian democratic opposition, involving all the forces and elites of the Syrian political opposition at home and abroad.
Regarding the atmosphere of the workshop, Majdoulin Hassan said: “The atmosphere of the discussions was positive and constructive, and the participants joined in a high sense of responsibility to make the work a success. "She explained that the participants stressed the importance of Autonomous Administration and its institutions, and described it as the only point of light in Syria on which to build a democratic political solution.
Majdoulin Hussein noted that participants in the Berlin workshop had some criticism of Autonomous Administration, said that" Participants made some criticisms of self-management and focused on the freedom of action of parties, organizations and public freedoms in general."
Majdoulin Hassan explained that the participants in the discussion workshop had some questions and inquiries about the curricula adopted within the areas of Autonomous Administration, the participants' questions were answered by SDC team, and it was explained to them that each component taught its curriculum in its mother tongue," she said.
Majdoulin Hassan stressed that the participants in the dialogue workshop stressed the importance of holding a national conference of opposition forces, and outlined the need for the Syrians to have a democratic political body to represent them. She said: "The participants welcomed the initiative of the Syrian Democratic Council to hold this conference, and expressed their readiness to attend and participate and contribute to its holding."
Deputy of co-chair of the Syrian Democratic Council Majdoulin Hassan noted the importance of holding similar workshops to converge the visions of the Syrian national opposition forces and introduce of AA. and said: "This was also confirmed by the participants in the Berlin workshop."
