New violations in Afrin ... cutting more trees, imposing heavy taxes on shops, pharmacies

As part of a series of violations and crimes committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in occupied Afrin, it continues to cut trees and impose heavy taxes on shop owners and pharmacies from the people of Afrin.

Local sources from Afrin canton reported to our agency that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries once again cut hundreds of olive and pistachio trees in Afrin, while activists published pictures and footage that showcased the areas of olive fields that were cut down.
On the other hand, in order to increase the pressure on the people of Afrin who are still living in Afrin, and in an attempt to force them to leave their homes, several sources from Afrin confirmed that the occupation army and its mercenaries are imposing exorbitant taxes on the owners of shops and pharmacies from the people of Afrin, where pharmacists have been imposed on the amount of 1000 $, while store owners were required to pay $ 900 per month, which is twice the amount earned by pharmacies and stores, which confirms that it is intended to compel people to leave their property and land and flee from Afrin.
