Mutual bombardment between regime, Turkey's gangs, before holding tripartite meeting

The rocket and artillery shelling renewed for the second consecutive day between the Syrian regime forces and mercenary groups of the Turkish occupation in the southern countryside of Idlib, before the start of a meeting of the so-called three guarantor countries in the Astana formula to discuss the latest developments in Syria.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that mutual missile and artillery shelling took place in areas in Jabal al-Zawiya south of Idlib on Tuesday night-Wednesday, and the regime forces targeted areas in Kansafra, al-Barah and al-Fateera in Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, while Turkey’s mercenary artillery shelled sites where the regime forces were stationed in Kfarmous in Jabal Shashabo, and mutual bombing coincided with the hovering a Russian drone in the sky of the region.

The De-escalation areas have witnessed violations of the cease-fire agreement since it was announced on the fifth of last March.

The Syrian regime has intensified the bombing of Idlib, in conjunction with the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and the announcement of the Russian Foreign Ministry to hold a trilateral meeting (Russia, Turkey, Iran) in the form of Astana.

In the context, the Observatory confirmed that the Syrian regime forces continued its bombardment of mercenary groups sites supported by Turkey on Tuesday, and the regime forces targeted the villages of Maarbelet, Benin, al-Jaradah, al-Barah and Fleifel in the southern countryside of Idlib in conjunction with the visit of Iranian Foreign Minister Zarif to the Syrian capital, Damascus.
