More than 2,000 civilians, IS' families reached safe areas

On Monday evening, more than 2,000 civilians and IS' families reached the areas liberated by SDF in al-Baguz.


IS mercenaries are being besieged in al-Baguz village in the last pocket on the eastern bank of the Euphrates River and east of Hajin town, where IS mercenaries are holed up while they are using the civilians as human shields to obstacle the progress of SDF.

And the civilians have been taken to safe areas by trucks to be transported then to the camps in north Syria.

It is noteworthy that large numbers of civilians and IS families go out daily as they were used as human shields by IS to obstacle SDF's progress.
