Middle East youths demand to release Şêladizê detainees 

The youths of the Middle East who participated in the conference in Kobanî city, north of Syria demanded the authorities of Kurdistan Region to release the journalists and civilians who have been detained in the result of Şêladizê uprising in January, 2019 during the last statement of the conference.

The youths came from a number of the Middle East countries who participated in the second conference of the Middle East youths in Kobanî demanded during a statement Kurdistan Region's government to release the journalists and civilians who have been arrested on the background of Şêladizê uprising against the Turkish occupation army and its bombing the villages causing the martyrdom of the civilians.  

The statement was read by the member in "The Middle East Youth Initiative" Karawan Mahmoud, and the statement included,

"We as Middle East youths participant in the second conference of the Middle East youths in the great city and the city of the resistance of Kobanî. We as various youth organizations and parties condemn the harassment of the South Kurdistan government to the journalists and citizens in Şêladizê, and we say to them that your harassment will increase our determination to move towards our goal. We demand the South Kurdistan youths to release the detainees in the near future, to get out of the line of dependency and stop serving Erdogan's government.

Elections are being held to select a council of all the participating organizations as a general coordination for the youths of the Middle East, while the conference's results will then be issued through a final statement.
