Meeting between Freedom and Change Forces, Sudanese Military Council today

The forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change in Sudan announced a meeting between their representatives and the Transitional Military Council on Saturday, describing it as "the first negotiating sessions between the two parties," confirming its insistence on its demand to hand over the military council to the civilians.

The Transitional Military Council met with representatives of the forces of Freedom and Change Wednesday and agreed to form a joint committee to continue negotiations.

"It is set for Saturday (April 27th) for the first negotiating sessions between the two parties," a statement from the Forces of Freedom and Change said.

The Forces of the Declaration of Freedom and Change demand a transitional civil authority for four years, consisting of a "civilian sovereign council with limited military representation, a transitional parliament that exercises all legislative and supervisory powers, and a civilian government with full executive powers, including competencies and national expertise is recognized for integrity and honesty. "

The forces have designated five people to represent them in the meeting with the military council.
