Mazloum Abdi: Investigation Committee's report is small part of crimes of mercenary gangs sponsored by Turkey

The Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, said that the report of the International Investigation Committee on violations in Syria is a small part of the crimes of the mercenary groups sponsored by Turkey. He stressed that their forces have begun to investigate the cases mentioned in the report that concern their forces.

The statements of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, came through a tweet posted on his official account on the social networking site "Twitter."

It included:

"The report of the Independent International Commission of Inquiry is a small part of the war crimes committed by the armed factions against our people in Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî with political cover from Turkey.

The international community should hold the parties accountable for war crimes and take serious action to prosecute and try the perpetrators of these crimes. In the section that concerns our forces: There is an unjustified disregard for the fact that the issue of al-Hol camp is complex and has an international dimension. Most of the 84 countries refuse to receive their citizens from the camp residents, while international organizations have reduced their role to some humanitarian aid.

We confirm that we have started an investigation into the cases mentioned in the report that accuse our forces."

The UN Independent International Investigation Commission issued a report on the violations of the parties to the conflict in Syria, in which it revealed a number of war crimes committed by the mercenary groups affiliated with the Turkish occupation in the regions of Serêkaniyê, Girê Spî and Afrin.
