Thousands of residents of al-Hasakah city bid farewell the body of the martyr Majed Ailo, a member of the Syriac Military Council, to his last resting place in the Syriac Assyrian Martyrs' Cemetery in al-Nasra neighborhood of al-Hasakah.
During his participation in the battle to defeat terrorism, Majed Ailo to liberate al-Bagouz, the last enclave controlled by IS mercenaries east of Deir ez-Zor.
After the arrival of mourners to the cemetery, the funeral ceremony started with holding a minute of silence, followed by a military parade was presented by fighters of the Syriac Military Council.
Many speeches were delivered in the funeral ceremony which praised the heroism of the fighters of the Syriac Military Council and their role in achieving victories in their operations under the banner of SDF to eliminate IS.
The speeches pledged all martyrs to walk on their path until achieving victory and elimination of IS mercenaries.
After delivering the speeches, the martyr's record was read and handed over to his families.
